"Don't Make Trouble" has now come to the USA..!

In this Brave new world, we must all become more aware of communications security. We must be more aware of Personal & Family safety.

In order to emphasize these points, I want to tell you a short story:

A decade ago, a close friend of mine was sitting in a neighborhood restaurant with a local woman he had recently met in at a trade show in Hong Kong.

This woman was native Chinese from the mainland. She was educated in International trade, extremely entrepreneurial, an incredibly focused multitasker who had been working 24/7 for her entire life.

My friend had worked around the world for decades in the USA, Europe, Japan and South Korea - but he had never spent any time in Communist China.

As he gazed at this "dynamo" across the table, things did not fit into his expectation template.
He asked her, "I don't understand. My preconceived notion of Communism seems to be wrong.

My preconceived notion of Communism seems to be wrong. It looks like you can do pretty much anything you want here under Communism.

She quickly responded: "You can do about anything you want - as long as you remember
just "Don't Make Trouble..."

My friend replied - "What do you mean by Make Trouble ? "

She said: "You can do almost anything, but you can not stand in the middle of this restaurant and shout bad things about President Xi - if you do, in only a few minutes an all Black SUV will roar up outside - 4 big military-looking guys in pressed black suits will storm inside, pick you up, and toss you in the back of the SUV."

She further commented: "Nobody in this restaurant will even look up from their meal. AND YOU MAY BE GONE FOR A LONG TIME - OR MAYBE NEVER BE SEEN AGAIN"

My friend swallowed hard and said:
"Got It, there is no Due Process of the
law here, under Communism.

Note to Self - "Don't Make Trouble"

P.S. my friend married that girl...
